Automatic line for sheet metal forming

Our automatic line is an industrial automation that operates in the sheet metal forming sector. The automation in question is a part of the line and is used to transport, test and bend sheets and has been designed and built exclusively according to the specific needs of the customer.

The equipment has a production capacity of about 50 sheets per hour, the sheets are advanced by a belt conveyor system. The first phase consists in checking the presence of all the holes present on the sheet, this happens with a mechanical system. A surface equipped with punches and sensors touches the sheet and if a hole is missing, the punch rises and is signaled by the sensor. The second phase is the bending of the sheet, a press at the center of the machine performs the processing using a mechanism specially designed to create the sheet metal curvature.
Finally, the transport expels the finished part.
